I built the Rolling with Scissors Facebook page to keep everything about the show in one place. Easy, clean, focused. But apparently, Jetpack (or some gremlin behind the scenes) decided, “Nah, let’s throw this stuff on Lucas’ personal page too.”

I checked all the settings. Rolling with Scissors is the only page listed under connected social media. And yet… here we are.

In the grand scheme of things, maybe it’s not the worst thing in the world. After all, some of you have been lazy — yeah, I said it — and haven’t followed the actual Rolling with Scissors page. So this is me showing up in your feed whether you asked for it or not.

Does it bother me? Not really. If it bugs you, that’s your problem. Not mine.

That said, when these posts show up on my personal page, Facebook only displays the link and the featured image. That’s it. No context, no preview text, no post excerpt — just a URL and a picture. If you actually want to read the thing, the full write-up always appears on the Rolling with Scissors Facebook page. Or, you know, right here on the blog, where everything is supposed to live anyway.

So if you’re curious about what I’m ranting about this week, don’t just look at the thumbnail and move on. Click through. Read it. React. Rant back. That’s the whole point.

Each blog post is shared across our social transmitters, but those are just bigger antennas. The original source — and the signal we control — is right here on the blog. If you’re looking for other ways to stay updated on Rolling with Scissors, you’ll find our official transmitters linked below.
